Kids Connect – After School Program

Kids Connect provides a safe, welcoming, and structured after-school environment for children on Early Release Wednesdays.

Children will enjoy a variety of activities designed to support learning, creativity, physical activity, and social development. Activities may include:

• Homework and reading time
• Gym games and physical activities
• Arts, crafts, and hands-on activities
• Board games and group activities
• Aquatics or alternative active play
• Free choice and social time

Staff provide a supportive and inclusive environment where children of all abilities and interests can participate, build confidence, and have fun. Parents may pack a snack for their child or add money to their account so they can purchase a snack during the program.

Daily Schedule

2:30–3:15 PM | Arrival, Snack & Homework
Children arrive, check in with staff, have a snack, and have time for homework, reading, or quiet activities.

3:15–4:15 PM | Activity Time
Children participate in a variety of structured activities, including gym games, creative activities, and enrichment opportunities.

4:15–5:00 PM | Aquatics or Active Play
Children may participate in pool activities with certified lifeguards or an alternative active play option.

5:00–6:00 PM | Choice Time & Pick-Up
Children enjoy free play, games, reading, and social activities. Pick-up is available throughout this time.

Kids Connect runs on Early Release Wednesdays when school is in session. Activities may vary based on the day’s schedule and participants’ needs.
